The British Academy offers you a unique opportunity to complete your A-Levels in the UK by joining our College A-Level Courses. The College has over 13,000 local students on numerous courses. Each year, 200 students choose to study A-Levels and class sizes are generally between 10-20 students. The college is situated in Wales in one of the safest areas of the UK which has over 1,000 years of history. Offering more than just educational facilities, the College is set in a magnificent area of countryside combined with an award-winning coastline full of beaches, coastal walks, surfing, and much more.
Our College’s excellent academic position and ideal setting has made it the home of almost 150 international students from all over the world including: Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, UAE, Vietnam, Africa, and Japan; all studying several different courses and at different levels.
Which A-Level Course?
Students can choose three or four A-Levels (depending on their ability and aspirations). All students must attend the Essential Studies Qualifications (ESQ) over two years as well as all periods and group tuitions. The A-level course specialises in equipping students with the knowledge to undertake degrees in the following disciplines:
- Medicine
- Dentistry
- Veterinary Science
- Finance
- Business
- Health Care
- Engineering
- Economics
- Maths
- Law
Entry Requirements
Students wishing to study A-Levels will be required to gain a minimum of 5 GCSE’s/IGCSE’s at grades A-C (or Equivalent) and they must have English, Mathematics and/or Science dependent on the subjects chosen. In addition, students will normally be required to have a minimum GCSE/IGCSE grade B (or Equivalent) in the subject or related subject being studied at A-level.
We also require all applicants to have completed secondary school to a good level of attainment. Stamped copies of the last two years school report should be submitted with your application.
